Wind turbines are landmarks of the seaside landscape and the Koszalin region is often called “the wind turbine country”. The lighthouse in Gąski offers a great view on them. On the road between Kołobrzeg and Koszalin, there are three major wind turbine farms, in Ustronie Morskie, Będzino and Dygowo. According to Statistics Poland, in 2020, wind turbine farms generated 10% energy consumed nationally. The bike path from Kołobrzeg has a number of stops at the wind turbines where you can take a closer look at them and capture them on your camera.
