The marina in Jamno is Koszalin’s “window to the world”. Even though the storm gate makes sailing between Lake Jamno and the Baltic Sea temporarily impossible, there are plans to reconstruct the canal and make it navigable again. In the meantime, the marina in Koszalin is growing. It is the base of Koszalin Yacht Club which regularly organizes sailing regatta, and the marina pier is also a stop for “Koszałek” water tram. In 2021, “Koszałek” will be joined by a new vessel called “Julek”. The water tram service on Lake Jamno is operated by Koszalin’s public transport authority (MZK). Water trams provide a convenient short cut to Mielno and Unieście. You can take your bike aboard free of charge. The harbour in Jamno is also an excellent lookout point for watching spectacular sunsets.
