Route: Sianów – Policko – Lubiatowo – Maszkowo – Sianów

The forest cycling trails around Sianów are four loops of varying degree of difficulty. Three of those loops are around 25 km long, but the fourth has nearly 40 kilometres). For the most part, those loops follow forest paths, but will also take you to the local heritage sites and through some scenic landscapes. All four routes start in Sianów in Mickiewicza street. There is a large square where you can park your car.

Route no. 3 has a pretty significant elevation difference which might make it difficult. From Sianów, head south, crossing the bridge on the Unieść river. Take the road towards Maszkowo, passing by beautiful pine and spruce forest along the way and eventually reaching road no. 206. Follow it for a while and then turn right towards Lubiatów and Lake Lubiatowskie. This is the most difficult section of the route, running through a ravine and climbing to the top of moraines which surround Sianów.

Go through Lubiatów to Lake Policko and the village of Policko where you can see Cichy Dwóch (The Quiet Mansion) – a 19 ^th -century mansion converted into a hotel. Head south towards Maszkowo until you get to the Unieść river again, which will take you to Lake Topiele. At the lake, turn left into Węgorzewska street which will take you to Sianów and the end of the route. Route no. 3 has plenty of rest stops where you can take a break and admire the views.
