Route: Sianów – Węgorzewo Koszalińskie – Szczeglino – Kolonia Dzięcioły – Kościernica – Sianów

The forest cycling trails around Sianów are four loops of varying degree of difficulty. Three of those loops are around 25 km long, but the fourth has nearly 40 kilometres). For the most part, those loops follow forest paths, but will also take you to the local heritage sites and through some scenic landscapes. All four routes start in Sianów in Mickiewicza street. There is a large square where you can park your car.

Route no. 2 is marked green and is the longest of the forest cycling trails around Sianów. The route starts on the gravel road heading towards Węgorzewo Koszalińskie which is around 3 km away. Next, go to Szczeglino where you can see a Gothic Revival church from the early 20 ^th century. Taking forest paths, reach the village of Kolonia Dzięcioły and the Unieść river. Follow the winding river valley, admiring the massive oaks and little springs. The old railroad fill will take you to Kościernica where you can see the church of Our Lady the Queen of Poland, believed to have been built in the 15 ^th century.

Take the forest paths again to reach the Strzeglin Mounds – conically shaped old burial sites. After around 10 km through the forest, you will reach Lake Małe Świdno. Go around it to get to Łubuszan street and the end of the route.
