Built at the end of the 14 th century by Cistercian monks, the church in Iwęcino underwent multiple reconstructions over the ages. Initially, it had four steeples, but a fire caused by lightning in 1732 destroyed all of them and only one was rebuilt. Interestingly, as a protection against windstorms, the new steeple was slightly inclined. From the Reformation to 1945, the church was a Protestant temple. Inside, you can see plenty of valuable historic items, such as the magnificent ceiling painting of Last Judgment from 1697.
